The drilling spool is a kind of Mud Cross equipment,it is pressure-containing piece of equipment and applied for drilling operation in high pressure oil and gas well, the connection of the by passage of the drilling spool with the valves and pipes will not only to used in blowout and choking , but also connecting the BOP with the wellhead.

The drilling spool is fitted with outlets to connect the lines extending to Choke and Kill Manifolds.Normally the drilling spools are designed with the same nominal top and bottom end connections while side outlets may differ from each other. The top & bottome connections and outlets fo the drilling spool can be studded or flanged.
